i posted many times in admin news and General chat that the changes were coming but many seem to have missed them

they are outlined below for you perusal

Reality Bites

Sadly the day has come when i am being forced into some changes to Aulro's subscription model or it's lack there of to be more precise.

With approx 18000 overall users and approx 6000 regular users, the system has grown to the point where things need to change a little to keep it viable

These modifications are the result of a number of recent events but primarily the fact that i nearly died a few months ago and hence came to the realization i need to do something for Aulro's sake sooner rather than later. Too many people have put too many hours into this place for it to just up and vanish with me...

In the hope this will future proof it.

It is my intention to make some subtle changes without trying to disturb the place too much.

From 1 January 2015

There will be a new subscription level that costs $11 per year or $1.50 per month

It will offer you continued full access to the system the same as non subscribers get now as registered users.

From 1 January 2015 new users will get 3 months free access to the system and then access will be reduced to many areas and features UNLESS they hold a current subscription.

If you have been here more than 3 months on that date your access will be reduced accordingly

NONE OF THIS WILL AFFECT CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS ON THE SYSTEM.

The current subscriber, silver, gold, and vendor level subscriptions will continue as they have in the past without change.

I am well aware this will have an impact and change the dynamic of the system but what needs to be done, needs to be done.

The extra income will ensure the system remains a viable entity.

So no matter when you signed up prior to the 1st October 2014, you now have until the 1st January 2015 to subscribe to Aulro.com or your access will be reduced.

Cost = $11.00 per year (other options available)

Subscriber
Cost = $27.50 per year (other options available) Removes the google adverts between posts
1000 PM's and can send to 5 people at once has 204800 KB of gallery space access to extra features to speed up your access and enhance your usage access to several other themes access to on-line games extra sections of the markets visible can have a signature can NOT have a commercial signature

Silver Subscriber
Cost = $55 per year (other options available) Removes the google adverts between posts
2500 PM's and can send to 5 people at once has 409600 KB of gallery space access to extra features to speed up your access and enhance your usage access to several other themes access to on-line games extra sections of the markets visible can have a signature can NOT have a commercial signature

Gold Subscriber
Cost = $88 per year (other options available) Removes the google adverts between posts
5000 PM's and can send to 10 people at once has 1638400 KB of gallery space access to extra features to speed up your access and enhance your usage access to several other themes including a low bandwidth low latency theme for those on slow dial up or satellite connections access to on-line games extra sections of the markets visible can have a signature can NOT have a commercial signature

Vendor
Cost = $100 per year
Removes the google adverts between posts
1000 PM's and can send to 5 people at once has 204800 KB of gallery space access to extra features to speed up your access and enhance your usage can have an approved commercial signature can create threads in The Verandah forum area.
you are allowed a login using your business name for you or your staff to manage enquirers without compromising your personal login.
it needs to be a different email address.
