X2.
Keep safe out there, and I'm also hoping for some rain and a good result.

Late this afternoon it began to rain. There have been intermittent good falls. Lots of thunder and lightning. We do not have mains water. I have diverted the water collected to bypass the tanks. It was black with soot and ash quite undrinkable. We were bombed by a C130 with retardant foam on Friday night and some may have gone on the roof. Apparently it is safe to drink, but it may not taste too good.
The fires, smouldering etc are now extinguished on and around my property. Everything is nice and damp. The rain has stopped and the air is still. Very humid, but we will sleep well tonight.
We have some roads open, but still no mains electricity. We are counting our blessings and they are many.
14 drivers left our patch to bring trucks back home, flying down and will depart the basecamp tomorrow morning. Rest of the crews will fly home shortly after.
