Don't think this bloke is my bloke, but I am trying to get some further Media coverage on a national level to try and wrap this gang up. From previous experience though, these blokes will just split up head off over seas to Canada and the UK, change their name by deed poll and believe it or not be back in a couple of years doing the same thing.
Vlad, info I have is that because Australia is considered a "Foreign Power" once the baddies change their name, the country of origin is not required to notify us. So if a flag is on the original name, it does not come up under the new name.
On latest info I have between WA, NSW and Vic we have managed to apprehend 3 major players of this outfitt. 1 in Vic for $500 000.00 fraud against the elderly. 1 in NSW 4 charges totaling $350 00.00 and this Roach in WA up to $500 000.00 as well. Remember Boys and Girls this is oply what we have where we think we have a reasonable chance of succesful prosecution. There are others out there where the paper trail is not enough or the oldies can't remember enough to convict, rough estimate her is 2-3 mil.Oh and this is all in a 6 month period. Not a bad return on your time.
I've had the oldies offer me $100's-$1000 of dollars to try and catch these ******. And this is only after meeting them for the first time. It breaks my heart to see them so trusting, and it somtimes makes me wonder how they managed to have that much money in the first place But that's how the ****** get away with it, time and time again. Very good con men.
