Before you get too excited, it's an ex-Land Rover. Which is to say - it was sold 10 years ago. Just before we started going out  .
Bugger Bugger Bugger... I could have had a hardtop :!:
So what was it :?: A series 3 or a late 2A ?
The proper way to bring up children :!:
You might enjoy a browse of the rest of the pictures in the gallery - they are taken on Fraser Island and Cooloolah and Rainbow beaches. There are a couple of the Cherry Venture only weeks after she grounded there.

G'day, It's definately a late model Series2A with H/lights in the wings and the deep skirts under the body (as different from S3 they were narrow) also take a look at the windscreen hinge, Series 3 is completely different from all the previous models, cheers Dennis
Hi Vlad
Is mrs Vlad still cute?????
I bet the answer is YES

Ace - he drives a Pajero now  He's old so I'll forgive him, BUT
he had the gall to call our Rangie a "****** car" :!:![]()
(Ironic given that 'Pajero' is slang for ****** in Spanish, which is why it's called the Montero in other markets).
For THAT I won't forgive him.
My family never had Landies. Never even had a four wheel drive, but we used to do some desert driving in 'Cruisers and Isuzu's (Jackaroos)in Saudi Arabia.
I think I got hooked on Landies when I was a kid. We went to a friends farm at Cooloola and I slept in the garage, in front of an old series 2 Land Rover (at least I know NOW that's what it was). As a kid I had the impression that the headlights in the grille were like eyes looking at me. From that time on I had a fascination for them that has never passed.
I didn't choose Landies; Landies chose me :!:
