You don't realise how much you appreciate something until it fails. The windscreen washer stopped working a few months ago and I didn't have time to sort it until today. The number of times I forgot and smeared dead insects across the dry windscreen!

Thinking it would be a fuse I checked out both boxes - nothing doing. I then checked the harness as it winds up under the air filter box as I had fitted a snorkel a few months ago - again no visible problem. I decided to test the motors by powering them directly from a small 12V battery. One was dead! Naturally it was the windscreen one that had died. As a temporary measure, until I find another motor, I swapped the electrical plugs and small hoses over. Back on the air again.
