Finally I found one!

Been looking for a Rangie for a few weeks now and finally bought one this afternoon.

After deciding that I can't keep treating the Disco they way I have I decided to look for an old Rangie to turn into a mud runner. Bought this one down at Traralgon and the guy will deliver it to me next Saturday.

It's a 2 door '77 model

-3.5l engine but has had the sidedraft strombergs removed and replaced with the carby from the P76.
- Had all electrics replaced with Bosch including distributor.
- snorkel
-front & rear bars with rear wheel carrier
-guards have been cut with Rangie spares flares added
-cargo barrier
-all bushes replaced
-very little rust

It runs very good for an old car, pulls well although synchro on 3rd is probably not as good as it could be.

It has 15" rims which I am selling if anyone wants them.
I am looking for some 16x8" rims

Have not taken any pics but here is one from the add

P.S. i use to get alot of bits from "rangie spares" when I had it. they were great to deal with. If you do a bit of camping they make a great premoulded watertank to fit the back of the earlier rangies that apears to take up next to no room, but holds 70L of water (still have the tank mounted in the 130)

cheers

You can never have enough lockers

I have already bought a secondhand full diff set disc to disc with maxidrive axels & locker for the rear. It is from an 86 so I will just have to change the shock mount but it will be easier to instal than if I bought everything seperate.

Thanks, but I will try to get a 2nd hand maxidrive locker first since I will have to buy the axels as well. If I go with the air locker I will use the one out of the front of my Disco and by the maxidrive 24spline axels.

But all this is irrelevant right now cause I don't have any money left.

Good stuff, it looks the goods in the photo. Those flares look good.
