I wonder if you could line up a Dealer Demo Defender in advance as they will want to quit them at some point.
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

That new 2 door Defender Wagon in Townsville is actually a 130!! Think it may be the only new 130 Wagon in Australia?

If it's a 130 Wagon, then I think it must be the only one in the world .

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Tis a 130! You can check if you like as I am not an expert on models, ph 07 4726 7777 and ask for David at Land Rover.

Would have it, if not for the panel behind the seats like the Series 3s had. Funny though, I never complained about the seats or the seating position when I was in the military.

I think I might just do that on Monday.
They don't have it listed on their website - what colour is it in case they have more than one of them?

There is no hope at all of that happening.

The local Stealer has deposits for more than they are ever going to get.

The second hand prices are ridiculous and will continue to increase in the short term.

In fact Defenders have always had fantastic resale values compared with most other LR products.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few yrs, particularly when the new models are out.

The two door 130 wagon is a dull green colour. It is not lined in the rear, so would be great for setting up for extended travel or as a tradie.

I haven't been able to get through to David & I don't want to leave a message with a salesman in case they think I'm in the market for a new car but Land Rover don't make a Defender 130 wagon/hardtop.

    This is the 110 hardtop:

The gap between the doors & the rear wheels exaggerates the 110" wheelbase.
