Thumbs up Do not discard your steel rims

You never know, perhaps there is a possibility to make money with them selling on the local market
I would add some legs on the bottom to improve the air circulation and supply a cup to collect the ashes.
    Suggestions are welcome photos appreciated

Yes, it's Arthur on his new money making scheme.

Perhaps if you offer to swap him some decent firewood for a set................?

If there is one thing Tassie is not short of,,,
    its good firewood.

nothing strange in seeing twin stacks 5 foot tall 50 metres long,, at every house.

    must get cold down there--

I've got a large camp oven out in the shed that is made from a truck rim.

Great for cooking a full goat, complete with roast vegies.
    Cheers .........

I have seen in the past a steel rim used as a base with an old washing machine tub (with all the holes) welded on top used as an outdoor heater. It might be hard nowadays to find a metal tub as they all seem to be plastic!

So you think making a fire place out of two wolf rims worth $100 each is a good idea?. Pat

no but make something similar to the one in the image with my steel RRC rims will be a good saving instead of purchasing something for the shops.
    They cost me nothing
