sounds like some kind of make believe story.
I mean , can anyone see it?
Had the roof, bonnet and front drivers wing, repainted on my TD5 last week.
Just fitted a set of 18 inch wheels and Cooper tyres and a set of running boards so the co-pilot ( the one who tells me to slow down) can get in without killing herself.
I must say the result is stunning. It looks almost like new.
Now I need to go sod off somewhere with the camper trailer. ( and the wife I suppose.)!!!

Of course you can see it. Just pop into my place and take all the pickies you like.
I on the other hand have absolutely no idea how to put photos on the web.
It does look good though.!
Hopefully you wont mind the crap ride you get with 18's,
My running boards have disco's and palm trees,, whats not to like?![]()

No crap ride with 18's Pedro![]()
Funny you should mention the crap ride . Yes it is NOT good.
I am getting steering wheel wobble especially on braking.
Tyre company tells me it is my brakes. I think not as my old wheels and tyres NEVER gave any wobble.
Today I had my roof lining redone by a guy in Ocean Grove.
It was blueish grey or black. I went for the black and love it.
Disco is Epsom green so has light fawn visors etc. I think the contrast looks O.K.
It's your brakes... Or how the wheel is sitting against the rotor..
Where you've gone wrong is with the brand![]()
What is wrong with Coopers? (The wheels are Land rover OEM.)
They give no problems on my J 20 Jeep and they are 12 and a half inches wide
Personal observation on quality of them and their suitability to Australian terrain, failures, rate of failures, problems etc means I will never recommend them or fit them..
Which model are you running? The edge design has a big influence on handling, and the vibration is rotor warp or misaligned wheel-rotor... (My D2 did the same)
