There were 2 Disco 3's at the LROCV meeting the other night. One dealer one and a TDV6 owned by a new member ( first one in the club).

Very nice piece of gear...

I saw the TDV6 on the way to the meeting... I Damn nearly took out a light pole while turning a corner and trying to get a better look at the same time 8O ops: 8O

You shouldnt have gone in, you would have been better off not knowing. The next few weeks will be the slowest few weeks of your life. It will feel like you are still waiting till august. Cant wait for the photos. matt

Hate to make you envious but me and my boy had a good play with new Disco3's for an hour or so on sat morning.
AND no dealer annoying you to buy the bloody thing.
We both made our choces,I still cant make my mind up between the gold or the green,but I have to have the expedition roof rack.Lindsay rekons the colours are lame but likes the 19 inch wheels.

I reckon the next 2-3 weeks will go pretty quick. It's got to be better than waiting 5 weeks. The D3 was due end April and then 2-3 weeks to get it.

Certainly I can post pics on the Forum and more of the first trip up to the High Country in May.

Getting the D3 before the end of the month will give me more time to do the following before the trip up to the HC:
-Find a spot to mount the UHF aerial and the TX/RX
-Run a permanent 12VDC down the back for the fridge
-Fit a removable carpeted ply base to the rear cargo area to fix the fridge and recovery gear etc... onto.
-Fit the fire extinguisher.

Is a bull bar a factory option, or havent they gotten that far? I dont suppose anyone knows if ARB or the boys at TJM have started or finished work on one? Matt
