    Workshops and Projects

This is where I spend an inordinate amount of time

I've managed to get the woodworking gear out for the first time in a number of years and this is one of my latest projects. Lauraines old bookcase was falling apart and the books didn't look so flash on the floor.

Sometimes there's even time for the Land Rovers. While replacing the free wheeling hubs with standard drive flanges a leaking hub seal needed attention and the greasy oily mess cleaned up.

Some great work there Perry. Love that bookshelf, and all the furniture made from the old timber.

I've started doing a bit of similar work myself now that I'm no longer working full time. Haven't got as much room (or gear) to work with as you have though - but I do have a reasonable pile of old timber, mostly jarrah. Gave a trailer load of old jarrah floorboards away to the local Mens Shed recently as I'll never have a use for the amount that was in the yard, especially since putting the new floor into the front of the house.

Love that trailer in a couple of your pics too.
    Cheers .........
