    D4 VS Disco Sport

Hey all, if you had to choose between the two and they will be priced roughly the same. give or take 3$k

Would you rather go for an SD4 HSE luxury discovery sport (black on black, 20' wheels, entertainment pack,xenons,5 seater, privacy glass, parking pack, tow bar and a few other things)

or a Tdv6 D4? black, tech pack, 7 seats, leather, rear air (which are mostly pretty standard on a d4 anyway) and meridian 380w audio.

Both are new. Part of me would be leaning towards the sport as its new. But we have a couple of disco 4s in the family and they are fantastic.

I think the disco sport is good. I'd prefer it over a freelander and evoque. although itll probably sort of be the same idea.

it wont really do any 4wd'ing. just tarmac. a gravel road at most. lol

The sport is made for people who want the security of a 4wd for travelling on tarmac and gravel roads but don't want the added complexity and weight of traditional 4wd's. Pat

Very good way to put it actually. I suppose it'll help if I actually go out and see a demo of the sport. I've not seen one in person so its a bit hard to decide

There is a distinct difference in sizes between the D4 and D_Sport, each with different capabilities. Maybe make a list of must haves, including potential vehicle usage and take it from there to see which suits best.

Agree there just think what you need and what you will be doing they both are awesome cars but i believe the D4 can handle more severe offroad with ease, plus I'm not sure about how the rear seats in the Disco sport wether they fold flat or not if thats what you need plus the split folding tailgate.

We had the Disco Sport a couple of weeks back. Brother in law was impressed and layed down his hard earned. Delivery due end of May.

I liked it...better for them than the Evoque. I would find it hard to choose between the two.

Airy, descent size, 9 speed, and a SD4 with enough poke for him.

    But D4 for me.

    Brett...
