Give me a nice juicy Lady Finger from northern NSW every time.
Just saying...
Panama disease can not be passed to the banana, it's a soil disease that kills the plant through its root system. Cavendish bananas are not permitted to be grown in the home garden in Qld., but ladyfinger bananas can, and you are right, much better taste. I grew them for a while, but they were just too much work for the return. What is not well known is that all plantings of banana plants [ commercial or residential] require an Inspectors " Approval to move and plant bananas " available free of charge from the DPI Qld, & NSW. Applications should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the movement of planting material. No one I know has ever bothered. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
