Rare sight, Lake Frome full of water

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

there may have been water in it on the 18th of feb, but there was no water in it 2 weeks ago when i was there.

all the rain came from what the bom was calling a 1 in 30 year rain.
turns out they were wrong, but still 100mm fell

thats what makes travelling this country so fantastic, the subtle ever changing views , brought on by local weather events.

last August out near Wanaaring , in north-western NSW , there were sheets of water either side of the road as far you could see , but it was just a local event , and the area is still in grip of severe drought.
