Thread: AULRO Footy.

Yeah Pedro it is great, only problem is that my own footy team is struggling for numbers. Had to play 2 games on the weekend as did many others to prevent a forfeit. Looking like the same for this weekend unless some of you lads would like to sign up.

thats no good,, I heard Gympie forfeited all 3 grades in the Sunshine Coast comp,, amazing to think only 20 years ago there were 4 footy clubs in gympie. sad really.

the First Rugby League Club in OZ was in Gympie,,

For the last 100 odd years that club has had the ( ONLY) right to wear a Green and Gold jersey.


And it was one of the clubs,, (last 2 or 3 years) that didnt survive,,
neither did the jumper,,

Learn something every day, and it is a shame for sure.

Now those Gympie-ites will have to stick to their other hobby - killing one another. :roll:


As for disappearing teams,

I'm a <span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">WESTS</span> fan second,

but a <span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">BALMAIN TIGERS</span> fan first and foremost and forever :!: :!:
