    45 Years - but who's counting

    Elisabeth gave me a card and chocolate this morning and I thought "What is is this for, it's not my birthday and I don't think it's Father's Day".

    Then it dawned on me. I forgot our anniversary - again.

    Yesterday I gave her some flowers but our anniversary hadn't even entered my mind when I bought them. She thought I had bought them for that reason but as I didn't say anything, she assumed I'd wish her Happy Ann. today. It was not to be.

    So I gave her a better present. I went out for the day to Scouse's (as I'd [reviously arranged) and left her alone. She reckons that was a really good present.

    Anyone got a spare dog house?
