He he he... That's a whole different saga, which is almost sorted now as he locks the dog inside when he goes out.

Thinking of popping this in everyone's letter box in the street. It may make him feel like he can talk to me. (Details deleted here though)
Hello there, I just want to introduce myself - my name is ...... and I live at number ............... I've posted this to everyone in the street as recently the Council received a complaint about our place, and I just wanted to clear the air with everyone.
I understand entirely why this was done and wanted to apologise for the mess that has been out the front for some time while I was restoring my old Caravan. Most of you will have seen all of this in your travels, and many of you who I know personally and just to say 'g'day' to as you walk past may have wondered what's going on. I spend a lot of my free time working on my classic car collection, particularly my 101 forward control you have all no doubt seen in its Military outfit that lives in the driveway.
Although I have a large collection of cars, bikes and trailers, they are all registered or on club permits so I hope that this collection of mine doesn't cause issue with anyone.
While I understand it can be quite confronting to talk to a neighbour about issues they may have, I do implore you to come and see me if anything I'm doing causing an issue to anyone - it is certainly not my intention, and once bought to my attention, I will in all cases work out a solution immediately as I have previously demonstrated to people here in the past. I always keep to the EPA regulations regarding noise, etc, but if you are a shift worker or similar, please let me know and I'll be happy to work around your sleeping pattens.
Please feel free to call in and say hi (there's usually a cold beer in the fridge) call me on my mobile - .... ... ... or email me at .............. if you want to or need to. I'm always up for a yack, and will be attentive to your concerns.
Again, apologies for my recent messiness - I'll try to be much more vigilant about this in the future, and please feel free to come and see me - I'm really quite approachable as many of you already know. We all live in this nice street together, so we should all get along which is always my intention.
Best regards - .....
I had an unregistered car parked outside the front of my last house. It still had plates on it & I kept it clean so it looked OK but someone complained to the council.
So I moved it.
And replaced it with a wreck & an old trailer sitting on my car trailer:

Looked fine to me & they couldn't do anything about it :p.
You have a lot of ebay tabs open on your computer - more than mine! :D
each council is different.
