Just showed the Wife the photos, think I have her convinced to go there when she finishes work. Could count as a honeymoon, really, when we were married 39 years ago, we were married on a Saturday. I sailed on the Monday. Didn't come back for 6 months. Lord Howe..... sounds good, Bob
That would have been interesting Bob. Everyone seems to know each other thats for sure but being such a small island it would be hard not to I guess
First time we went we were only there a couple of hours and the only island Copper pulled us over for not wearing bike helmets, let us off with a warning though. Sounds like an amazing honeymoon you had! 6 months would have been nice.

Not much of a honeymoon on the bottom plates steaming a boiler whilst the new wife was at home....I mean, I loved my ship, but....... Yes, interesting evening at dinner. Really had to be on my best behaviour, strait laced people, religion played a large part in their life Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Sorry I misread your earlier comments sounds like you do have a honeymoon to make up for then
Ours was not much fun either as was up in Northern Norway and I got a blood infection from an insect bite so had to cut the trip short
