More interesting is what it is,
I came across the convoy on its way to recover this (so so long ago) as
it is historically significant. They were able to make telephone calls in the desert because they had Telecom sponsorship and there was a large dish and a technician who could set it up!!!
Today that trailer etc technology fits in your glovebox!

An easy oneA prominent feature 150 yards to right of and a creek in the distance. Feature and creek ? please
Im guessing your heading south, feature = Bramwell Roadhouse , and Rocky Creek ??
I'm going to guess it's just off the southern bypass road, on one of the arms of (I think) Nimrod Creek, and the feature is a microwave? mast @ 92m high.
We pulled in there in 2010 looking for somewhere to camp. (We ended up camping on Schramm Creek a few ks south).
