Yes, that's the house. It's been empty for as long as I can remember. I can imagine the house's owner stepping off the paddle steamer after having loaded wool for trans shipping to Old Blighty via Goolwa and Victor Harbor. Milang was once an important port on the route from Adelaide to Melbourne, before Murray Bridge got its iron dual use bridge. It even had its own branch line, now a walking reserve with loads of remanent vegetation and swampy ground.

Tolderol Game reserve is a fascinating place too.

    Over to Jon or Chops

An enjoyable little hunt. One could almost say it was a bee utey...
    Cheers, Dale

I second that, had me searching all over the place last night, don't know I've had to look quite that hard before, except for a little lighthouse a few months ago.

Over to you Jon, I've got nothing to put up anyway at this point.

Well done Chops. I'd been searching along Lake Rd but there was no way I'd have found that.

If you're sure you don't want it I'll post something up when I get home. Might have to give it some thought though - that one is a hard act to follow.

    Cheers,
    Jon

    Go for it Jon,
I'm going to start searching for some old pics I took on one of my honeymoons many years ago, and scan them onto the computer. Here's hoping I've written on some of them so I can remember exactly where I was.

Name of the road and locality - if you get one the other will be easy.

The mountain range looks a bit too rugged but otherwise it looks like the Flinders Ranges, heading west on Erudina Rd towards Brachina Gorge.
