It was a bumper year for wildflowers,all the tourist stops had info on where the best places were to see them,with maps etc.Probably a 4 hour detour in the comfort of the D4.Headed east from Geraldton to Mullewa,then south west back to Dongara and back on track to the highway home.
I had heard of Coalseam Conservation Park in the past,its not well known.Was well worth the trip thru there.

I can't remember the name of the track, but it's off six mile, the next track down from the telstra phone, that leads out to your camp, it doesn't look like eight mile, so I'm guessing it's the track in between the phone and eight mile??
