Balcanoona Gorge?
Chambers Gorge
Running dangerously low in the piccy barrel, but let's try this one from ca. 1975.

My fondest memory of (Mt) Chambers Gorge was when a mate of mine and I forced my P76 up the gorge after a flood had removed the track. We eventually found a bunch of Cruiser owners camping who had driven in from the top, parked where it got a little difficult, and were wandering around smugly holding beer coolers. I wound down the window of the P76 and asked one if the track went through. The look on his face was absolutely priceless. :tease:
My first thought is somewhere in Tasmania. Reminds me of the gorge below the Gordon Dam
