Cryptic clues are becoming the norm in this thread.
I still say Coffin Bay. The oysters are exceptionally succulent ... but if I follow the clues then: Cactus Beach ... but the sea is too flat for Cactus ... it is a mill pond ... I still say Coffin Bay.
KarlB I am prepared to give it to you as Cactus Beach is correct. We were camped behind the dunes next to a lake which is used for salt production.
The guy we spoke to - who told us that we should not camp there but then turned a blind eye and said OK, said the water seeps through the sand dune from the ocean into the lake. He said 90% of the salt going to New Zealand comes out of that lake.
Now we know where they get the salt for their Fush and Chups
