    Is there still a pub at Yaraka? The train stopped going there from Blackall yonks ago and the population is about 20. Not the middle of nowhere but the icehole of nowhere.


    Correction- The Longreach tourism web site says the population of the hamlet is 12 and the district 117. Emmett which had a population of 2 for a long time is now a ghost town. The last train ran in 2005 and the line has been removed.
