Outback Challange 2005
About 50 odd cars are currently competing in this years Outback Challenge.
There are 3 English teams that are over competing, in 2 Ibex's and a 100inch Hybrid.
There are about 8 Rangies also.
Quite a good Rover representation at the comp which is fantastic.
This year should be extremly competitive and also power based.
The guys are now all running huge amounts of power, including Rohan Canavan (former Rangie / Disco owener) with a stretched GQ with over 300kW at the wheels 8O
I had the chance to see a few and help get some of the cars going which was great fun.
I will deffinately be there next year eith spectating o navigating .
I'll try to post updates as they come in if anyone is interested.

Sure is - also many $$$ sunk into cars which are now being trashed.
Have been about 3 or so rollovers so far including an Ibex
One of the smiths (Range Rover) have blown a rear diff, the other having engine problems or something like that.
Prolouge stage is finished, and everyone is now moving off to different stages.
Competition is close
