    Mark,

This Camel Defender sounds pretty special. Any pics you can post?

Good luck in the morn. A Camel car now thats something to drool over.
Keep the site posted over the requiremnets of compliancing a vehicle. I was tossing up to buy a Ducati from OS anyone got any idea on the cost of getting a compliance plate for these or any motorbike as it is significantly cheaper to buy a new one from Italy or the UK including freight is still about 1/2 retail price here. There must be some huge markups on bikes or huge import taxes.

I'm not importing so I don't have to get the compliance thing.... I'm only bringing it in as a tourist on a temp basis so different regs apply.

Cheers but I think I'll be setting off too early in the morning as I need to be over in Brooklyn for 08:30.....

I've got a foot pump in the back of the truck should it become a real drama... That way I can get enough air in to limp it to a garage!

I'll give you a call in the morning to let you know how it's going.
