Thread: 4WD Snow Chains - whats available?

    Phoenix is right. The diamond pattern chains will give you better grip when turning. I've driven on both and the diamonds run rings around the ladders, just my opinion.

    If you are on a track the ladders will chew the track more than the diamonds.

    Picked up a set from ARB on Friday and when I left I asked if they were diamonds and the answer was Yes. Got home pulled them out of the bag and guess what - ladders :roll: . Dropped them back on Saturday arvo and ARB need to order in the Diamonds. Looks I'll get them for the same price as the ladders which were $350 (I Hope [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img] ).

    I bought them to suit the P38A which originally had 255/65R16 tyres so they'd fit most standard size LR tyres. I'll check to see if they fit my 245/75R16 tyres.

    I have 225 75R16's on my disco !!!

    Do u have a part number / brand for the chains and I might be able to find out what combinations they fit !!
