Loved the comment about the difference between a European Land Rover, and an Aussie spec Holden...........

Just watching TV and an ad came up for 7 news. They have pick up this head on. So the P plate insurance company wouldn't like to see that on TV

Only one problem there, that's a Holdem Cruze, made in Germany

IIRC, the Cruze was designed and "assembled" in Aus,

Designed in Germany as Baz said - with underpinnings based on the Opel Astra.

Manufactured in various locations around the world and sold under a variety of brand names, most common of which is probably "Chevrolet Cruze".

The "Australian" Holden Cruze was originally imported from the (Daewoo) Bupeyong-gu plant in South Korea, before being built alongside the Commodore in Holden's Elizabeth plant from about 2010.

I've noticed quite a few Opels of late, getting ready for when Holden closes their assembly plant I'm assuming.
