Wife loves to get out camping, if theres a toilet its not really camping!! She really appreciates the shower though (so do I [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img] ).

She's not into the driving as much though and tends to leave it to me although she's quite capable behind the wheel.

Have to say I'm very fortunate. I used to go bush with the guys when I rode trail bikes, but now with the family , 2 boys 5 and 7, we all go camping and 4WDing together.
When I first bought up the idea Linda wouldn't go camping casue of spiders etc, but all that started to fade after a few camping trips.
Have to admit I do have a good shower, but no toilet. Can't spoil them too much [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]
But it's great to have a common interest that all the family enjoy. Still 3 weeks before we head to the Simpson though, can't come soon enough.

Hey John, we are leaving Sydney to go to the Simpson on the 2nd of july which way you heading, might see you on the way or even in Birdsville.

Baz, looks like we're both heading out the same time, leaving Syd on the 2nd, first stop at Nyngan, but won't be in Birdsville till Friday, going via Camerons corner, the Bore Track, Inaminka, Coongie Lakes then back up to Birdsville.
Never know who you run into at Birdsville though, if you're around the same time love to have a beer.

Oh yeah thats a definate we will be in Birdsville same time we're staying at the caravan park, i should warn you, ExplorOz forum are having their national gathering in Birdsville that weekend (i know cause i orginized it :wink: ) and Overlander are having theirs at Cameron Corner as well so there will be alot of formulites around, we are going via Canarvon Gorge and in via the Birdsville development Rd.

Mrs Vlad likes 4wdriving - that is the tracks etc. Her main interest is in getting to the destinations (Fraser Island lakes etc) but she enjoys the gentler tracks.

She prefers that I drive [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

and she always wants to get out when there's a steep hill involved. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

My missus loves camping and 4wdriving etc. I usually get her to recover other drivers so I can take photos for blackmail purposes. Being recovered by a female driver humiliates most. She even took my YZ426 for a ride the other day, only 1st and 2nd gear but hey she got on it and it scares me.
