    Close Conjunction of Venus and Jupiter.

    June 30 is the date that Jupiter and Venus will be very close together in the sky, I looked at Venus and Jupiter last night and they were a spectacular sight in the western sky.

    I'm not sure where your photo is from Ausfree , but it shows Jupiter well to the left of Venus at about a 45* angle.

    In our sky , and I checked tonight just to make sure I wasn't mistaken , Jupiter is immediately above Venus.

    It will certainly be interesting in the next couple of evenings.

    The photo is from the Northern Hemisphere, but the planets do keep moving.
