    Messages from the 'other' side?
We keep getting spam from a relative who died nearly two years ago.
    Should we reply?

I'd be surprised they can get still a 3G signal. I never can just in a tunnel.

John Schumann did 'Only 19'. Ceremony quite moving. Hard to believe it's been 50 years.

I will watch the parade at Enoggera tomorrow by 6 RAR. It was a bit disappointing the Vietnam government have cancelled the service over there.

Yes it was. Its still a very sensitive subject in Vietnam where they lost many more than we did.

Ok,back on topic, what about this in todays Courier mail.

"In the US,the toll of child deaths in locked cars has reached 27 this year.In Texas a father of a six months old told police he forgot to drop his son at daycare and found him dead in the SUV when he returned from work"

To me this sort of thing is absolutely beyond belief.

And on another topic, a few pages on they gave the Disco Sport a good wrap.

Got a mate with four kids. He had a toddler in a baby seat and three other boys who were older. They went to watch the oldest play footy. Got all the gear out and walked to the oval an sat down. he then realised he was missing someone. He had left the toddler in the car in Townsville. t could have been disastrous. Very lucky.

Time to consider where I am at mentally and physically. I do enjoy my life in Brisbane , couldn't ask for better weather population density etc . But after a return visit to my home town and where I used to spend most of my time , I have a feeling to go back. It was nice to be able to cycle without a helmet ,get about easily on public transport and be within relatively easily accessible non urban areas. Just can't wrap my head about the freezing winters , and very few Landy diesels, at least from what I saw .

I thought you were talking about Bindi Irwin for a moment... She is almost as annoying as the plant, and the name suits her personality perfectly...
