Well, for those that care , and for those that don't care , I'm off to Archerfield Speedway to watch Australia's premier Speedcar event for this year.
Sun in my face face for next 3-4 hours , probably dust too , in this heat , but it'll be good.

well yes, they are still racing Sigmas.....and Fords and Holdens of the same vintage.

but in reality it has improved a lot. the reliability of the race engines now means most cars finish their race.....its usually other reasons put them out.

a 410 in a sprintcar just never stops these days, like wise the speedcars or midgets......they used to be plagued with reliability problems.

My nephew's cat a few days ago brought in his latest present - a live snake about 60cm long. This is the fifth time it has done that, although the size and life status has varied. Birds, lizards, mice are a daily occurrence.

and he just found another mouse. he played with it for an hour before killing it, and then came to me and wanted a cuddle.

We live in a rural area and try to nurture the native fauna. I hate cats!
Haven't seen any around here for three or more years now. Geez, those bells they wear on their collars make them an easy target, hey!
