Spotted something on FB this morning that says the supermarkets are going to make a squillion out of this. I'm guessing with savings on buying the plastic bags in the first place, and the fact you buy the fabric (??) bags from them, at no doubt a very inflated price,, they do stand to make big bucks from it.

I noticed a supermarket had brown paper bags for sale for a couple of dollars each.

Had those when i was a kid,for groceries,no worries at all.

Certainly would break down well,and not cause issues with the environment.

In my youth there were certain people who would, apparently, improve appearance, for certain reasons, by having a brown paper bag placed over their head.
Try that with a plastic bag and you'd probably end up charged with murder by asphyxiation .
