Does anyone else think that tray back utes look terrible, if they don't have the storage boxes underneath? Unless it's a Land-Rover, of course.

It's a two minute walk from my place to the new (Electric) Tram stop thanks.
They said it would never take off but it can't fulfil the demand.
    Cheers, Billy.

Hey, as long as trams have a dedicated route I'm all for 'em, as long as I don't have to catch 'em. However, having the things on Brunswick or Smith street is nuts. They are a massive impediment to traffic, and traffic is a massive impediment to them. Last time I was in Sydney, George street was impassible, and I hear it still is. Or has that changed.

Of course, Melbourne found another use for them once:

I always thought that they should leave them there and use them as a kind of street market. They were there for 33 days. Good thing yours don't have conductors...

George St is still the same. It's a complete shambles. Our local one runs on a disused freight line so that's nice. It's a pleasant trip and no traffic until you get to Hay Market.
    Cheers, Billy.

That's what I mean by dedicated line. We have one that goes to St Kilda on the old train line. It's great, if you want to go to St Kilda. Ditto Port Melbourne. Then there's St Kilda Road and Brighton Road, where they have their own reservation. A few others as well. But they create chaos in most of the inner suburbs with their narrow streets and kerbside parking.
