I can't remember the exact time but, in the 50's, a bloke (Let's call him Charlie) who lived in The Hayes Inlet area North of Brissie, returned home from a Northern adventure with a young saltie.

In the 60s, I well remember my father coming home from somewhere or other and stating to my mother 'You know that croc that Charlie has? Well, it's got too big for him so he's got rid of it.'
Years later, when there was a report of a croc sighting in that area, I quizzed my dad about what he meant by 'got rid of it' and he didn't know whether the croc was dispatched or released.

There are stories about crocs in The Logan River too, but I'm not sure if it was real.

There were many claims and denials about a croc (not Bob ) in the Sandgate lagoon. I doubt that there was one there.
Rouge crocodiles have been relocated hundreds of kilometres away and returned to their home ground. The land mass of Cape York has not been an impediment.

Just so long as they don't re-home it in my Dam. Naaaaaaaaaah, it'd be too cold wouldn't it? Wouldn't it? "OMFG, is that a Crock snout moving through the water?"

All I don't need is a Full grown Croc leaping out of the causeway & grabbing me by the bollocks, or any other appendage. It'd have to find it first.

    Rouge Crocs? Gay Crocs?
