Lots of good fillums have been made in SA,( although Overlanders was a Northern Australian fillum )especially up that way inc Breaker Morant to name but one. The Overlanders was one of the early ones post war I recall with Chips Rafferty, Daphne Campbell & a cast of hundreds including 100,000 cattle.

Someone asked do they make the Guiness in Ireland.
When Bernie Powers owned the brewery at Yatala he brewed Guiness under license. I don't know if he bottled/canned it though.
Bernie would have Guiness nights up in the bar, often a Wednesday, all you drink , on the house.
As an aside SWMBO and I went to Coolangatta Hotel for their advertised St Patricks Evening , to celebrate our wedding anniversary which we share with the Irish. Can you believe we couldn't get a Guiness?
They had run out. It was part of their dinner package and they offered me a rotgut IPA instead. We will not go to the Coolangatta hotel again.
