Ford Patents Terrible Billboard Scanning Tech, Shows In-Car Ads

John Cadogan also has some choice words to say about this in his latest video.
Well, I guess it is just an extension of what they have been doing for years. It may not of been confined to Ford, but driving on a freeway in Detroit during the 1980's there was a HUGE billboard on the side that counted up the car production numbers. Not sure now if it was just the days or years total, maybe both. But for sure it was a distraction as the the bloody thing was ticking over an increase every few seconds.

Now that vehicles can update via wifi I guess we will see billboards broadcasting via wifi to passing vehicles.

Today saw coffee shops advertising camel and buffalo milk. I knew we had local camels, but didn't know we had buffalo. Getting very yuppie here.

Not so unusual when you consider there is Buffalo Milking Herd around Camperdown/Port Fairy way in Western Vic.

Apparently they make first rate Cheese from it..

I gather it also available in the Gippsland Area so why not a place near you?

heaps of buffalo up in the NT

there are some tame herds so I assume they are milked.

I used to shoot buffalo up there and would sometimes bring 4-500kg of the best cuts back in a couple of big fridge boxes from my field trips.

the horns were almost as popular as the meat.

You didn't come across a bloke by the name of Daryl G. a.k.a. 'Buffalo' whilst shooting, did you?

OK. Daryl was employed in buffalo culling, by the Territory Government. Would have been early 80's I reckon.
