Nah - I lived in Hamilton overlooking the Albion Park track and spend many days in the Brekkie Creek Pub (was working at Wolston Park at the time) but the summer heat in Brissie was too much for me.

I did a land search at 'The Park' looking for an escapee. Got chatting to a security chap; well he was dressed in blue with nineteen million keys on his belt. Yep, you've guessed it, he was a guest.

There's a lot of history in that joint.

Yes a lot of history and could I tell you some just from the relatively short period I lived up there.

One chap had been a general in the Army, an admiral in the Navy and an Air Chief Marshal in the Air Force, all by the time he was 26 and he couldn't understand why they wouldn't let him out to do his important duties!
