Looks like DEC lost a couple of prescribed burns today.One at Collie,and judging by the smoke plume the one between here and Armadale.Best burn it out now when there is a chance of controling it rather than a wildfire in summer.

They lost the Jarradale burn nicely,Albany hwy was closed until 4pm today,at one stage there were reports of 100 trucks held up.
It actually took out the next prescribed burn too.Good stuff,after experiecing The Boddington Fire last year much more burning needs to happen in the cooler months.

Amazing when that area had 18mm's of rain dumped on it yesterday. I know coming back from Midland the rain was that hard at the bottom of Greenmount hill that you couldn't see two cars ahead - we were stuck in a slow moving jam up the hill behind some monster tracked thing That was barely making 5 kph & at the top of the hill we were in cloud! Glad I wasn't in any of the Land Rovers.

Pretty rowdy here. Watching better homes and gardens and having a laugh. Solving the the worlds problems. Lots of fox creek short row Shiraz being consumed.
