'Economic Repairable Write-off' - QLD
Anyone know if there is any way of ascertaining why a vehicle was written off?
All the PPSR report shows is the type (collision, hail, flood etc), but I was wondering when DOT inspect these vehicles, is it a generic total check, or do they have knowledge of what the damage was to look for?

You are in Qld, but beware the vehicle will be unsaleable/unregisterable in NSW after repair.
The only exemptions are limited to the owner at the time of damage that caused the vehicle to be written off or inheritance of a vehicle on the WOVR. Permission to repair must authorised before starting the repair.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
