Im about to turn 30 this month and am slowly losing my fitness due to disability but am fighting it the whole way haha. Cuppabillytea be brave and get the ticker checked i am guilty of not doing things too for fear of what might be found, but if anything is wrong best to know with enough time to fix it so you are around enjoying land rovers for a long time to come

My Doctor has referred me to a Ticker Specialist for a full ECG but I keep putting it off for fear of what it might say.
Mate - nothing will induce fear as much as chest pain at 2am....

Go get the test done Your family and friends will be grateful....

You blokes have it all wrong. Too much focus on ego. Not enough on your inner self. In life, it is the journey, for sure, No one looks forward to the destination. [ BTW, in jujitsu, from what I learned, aggression and aggressive attitudes, is not part off the process. ]
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    but ....
Ego in part is the inner self ?

As they say , to love others , you need to love yourself first ... ?

Not at all. It is not uncommon for a ju-jitsu dojo to have a sign " please leave your ego at the entrance. ". I find it difficult to define ego myself, so I took the liberty of copying this. A reasonable description, I should think, Bob

    • The ?I? or self of any person (ego is Latin for ?I?). In psychological terms, the ego is the part of the psyche that experiences the outside world and reacts to it, coming between the primitive drives of the id and the demands of the social environment, represented by the superego.

Vanity is a little different to self esteem.

Oh, and it took fifteen years off me, and I haven't cycled either bike for far too long.....
