    Record difference in fuel price?

I have become accustomed to usually paying about ten cents a litre more for fuel on the South Coast than I do when I fill up near Sydney.

I have often seen a fifteen cent difference, but today's difference has me flabbergastered.

I filled up this afternoon at Albion Park for 120.8 cents/litre and a short time later in Nowra, I saw the same fuel from the same company for 148.7.

A difference of almost 28 cents/litre seems a bit over the top.

Remember, I am not talking about the difference between the city and some remote community in the outback. I can understand why fuel is dearer at Rabbit Flat or Drysdale Station, but the South Coast is relatively civilised. Most of us are connected to the electricity grid; a lot of us have hot and cold running water in our bathrooms, and we can often get reliable mobile phone reception.

I remember seeing Diesel at Wilcannia cheaper than it was at Dural in north west Sydney area. You can get gouged anywhere.

My wife complains all the damn time about fuel prices.
Way i look at it is different. Were getting screwed by these supplies we all know that but its pointless trying to fight it.
Atleast at the pump level i mean. Trying to find cheap places to fill up is mad.
Waste of time and mental effort.
If you really care then perhaps partition to your local mouth piece and get into his ear about it.
Hell they established bodies to monitor this (lololololol)

I try to avoid getting LPG at Mittagong. It's usually 30c/litre dearer than home and 25c/l dearer than at Pheasant's Nest.

For example, 67c/litre at home, 97c at Mittagong and it's only 100km south.

Partitioning might work better than petitioning.

You would drive 100kms for fuel?
Or are you just giving comparison?
Cause thats just how my wife thinks. Lets drive all the way over here to get cheaper fuel but neglects to realize it COSTS fuel to get there......

Similar here. When possible I buy fuel outside of Orange. Shop local they say - well, not if they're taking advantage of people.
