    Looking for a Defender for my Wedding in MELB!

    Hi everyone, I'm Will from Melbourne, and I'm getting married this November 7 to my high school sweetheart, Alicia. We're getting married on a farm in Seymour, and would love to rock up in a Defender (I'm hoping to buy one in the future).

    We've been looking all over the internet world to hire a Defender without rental stickers on the exterior, but have had no success. A great guy from Bear Rentals NSW recommended that I try this forum.

    I would appreciate any help I can get, thanks so much!

    I don't have a Defender but I am in the area and have a 101....
    88 Perentie FFR - Club Rego
    93 Discovery 1 200 Tdi - Club Rego

    06 Discovery 3 Petrol

    I've got a 101 too, but that's hardly shiny stylish or comfortable, but it sure would turn heads.

    Plenty of Defenders on here, but it depends what people have on that weekend, or if they feel up to a drive to Seymour.

    Are you looking for a 90, 110 or 130?
    Wagon or ute?
    Plain or dressed up?
    Preference on a particular colour?
    All these questions and that's only for 1 car, imagine the rest of the planning

    A 101?....BRILLIANT,......just one problem, a vision/presence of such an awesome beast might take away a little of the required focus upon the bride?!!

    A few positives for the 101 theme:

    * It's cream - which is almost kinda white...
    * You can say to the Misses "see - I could have bought one of these but I only bought a Defender"
    * Yes it has presence

    A few negatives..
    * It's not a Defender
    * It legally can only seat 2 (driver + passenger)
    * I'd hate her to jump down from the cabin, and rip her dress.. People often get their jeans caught on the door lock if they are unfamiliar with the vehicle...
