It's easy to get your wife on side,
"I'm having a mid-life crisis, it's either a floozy or a SII. What do you reckon? I was thinking of romantic drives in the country on lazy summer Sundays, just you and me in a classic soft top, stopping at wineries and antique shops. No way we could pick up antiques in an MG, so I thought the Land Rover would do the job nicely."
little does she realise that "antiques" is code for SII parts found on farms.

I never did have a Meccano set as a kid, and as it stands the Disco is too nice to turn into a mud puppy. One day I'd love to have a knock about Series for fun. I'd be keen to spend some time passing the tools too if you need any assistance.
