Please look out for this missing guy, solo traveller not returned home

    Hey guys

I have just shared this through Facebook as a lot of our members travel in around and trough this region I thought it would be good to share through here.

Please keep a look out and if you know anything get in touch with the family

I'll put it up on the Stromtrooper motorcycle forum (I'm a Mod there).

    Great Ron

I think the more exposure the better.

I mean I realise many people go missing but when it's a fellow adventure traveller it rings a home a little that it could potentially anyone of us out there starting out on an adventure.

Hopefully it's just a case that he broke down and his sat phone run out of battery or something but the more people that can share the better

The V-Stroms are adventure bikes and a few of the riders do go bush. I've put it in the Australia-New Zealand section.

A reply said that a member of the DR650 forum might have spotted him at Louth.

He was heading for Brisbane originally, so anywhere along that general route would be worth scanning the roadsides with extra vigilance.
Another member (a copper, I've sold stuff to him) of the V-Strom forum has just done a ride to Louth so I've flagged that. But Tilpa and Louth are a long way from Cameron Corner if heading for Brissie.

yes , exactly Ron.....I'm heading over that exact route in about 4 weeks .....pity my timing was not earlier.

hope he's found to be ok, ....from the Strez to Camerons Cnr , theres hundreds of sandhills and bull dust washouts to catch the unwary.

I have been across this route a number of times now and have always found other travellers , so if he's broken down it shouldnt be too long that he's found.

A great source of information that may be worth following up is to contact Mavis at the Tibooburra Post Office. She is an absolute oracle in that district and she would put the word out to everyone moving through the area to keep a lookout for him.
