As most of us "older" blokes know, old school hard work has wrecked our bodies. Having said that, through all the aches and pains I've just spent two very enjoyable weeks modifying/adapting a machine. Just the sort of thing I love to do. On the tools, cutting, drilling, welding, thinking outside the box to make it all happen.
Some clown has suggested we work till we're 70 :o,,, got news for you office dweller :censored:.
So, plan is to work another two/three years, I'll be 55 then,, then off around the country looking and seeing what the rest do, with maybe a little bit of work in between if I can get it.
If all else fails and I have to come back to earth early, I'll be mucking around doing some car restorations to fill my time :D
