They are now talking about raising GST to 15%.
    I hear you !
I personally do not want to sit back and relax so much , as not have to go to work just to survive in this screwed up system we are forced to live in ..

    Who is sick of working?

I didnt think I was, but one day my mind said "just lie down here" and then the Paramedic said just lie still, then the Doctor said Hmmm.
Then another two Docs said "you're selling your health for money"
    and I said Hmmm.
18 months since I last worked and I havent been sick a day since,, no colds, flu's or anything else.

    Have I retired??

My mum told me if I can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything. I'll make no further comment on them.

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

At 60 .... I know all to well ...that what you say is the story of life ...
    " redundancy " !!!

You are only as good as your last job? , your last mistake? , or your last hours of work that you can provide anyone .... after that ? hey get over it or live in a fictitious vacuum , thinking that you are better than everyone else ??....

    just sayin :- )

I personally have been used by the best and the worst of this system

    cheers

I retired at 60 in febuary after working on building sites since I was 17 theres no way i could have kept going till 70
We were lucky, Missus got a redundancy payout and Sydney housing price spike ment we could exit.
I now work 7 days a week at my pace and on projects around the property that need doing
    Very busy but loving it
    Cheers Paul
