Discowhite passes blue slip!

this is the trouble with NSW!
there are too many slips!

i passed my blue slip(in qld its a roadworthy) 2day with flying colours.
the inspector said he tried hard but couldnt fault it!
and so he shouldnt.

now for the green slip! CTP
i think there is yet another slip, but the colour of it i cant rember???

BTW annually you will need an inspection for your Pink Slip (no wise cracks relating to Mardis Gras and Sydney Siders) :wink: . This is your annual roadworthiness.

The CTP is the other slip you are talking about, thats the green slip, next year you will need a pink slip which isnt as stringent. But its fun isnt it. Matt

now here its cheaper! thats right nsw is cheaper than qld for somethings
same car here will cost me $680..... what tha???

Bet the $680 is only the rego, you'll need to add the green slip cost to that, the $798 in QLD is including your green slip if I'm not mistaken.

And then add the cost of the inspection about $30?

Also CTP goes up for vehicles 10 years old or over. Figure that: I guess its actuarial :roll: .

Whats the Tare weight for a disco, cause according to the NSW RTA site $220 is for up to 1154kg only, I think a disco is a bit heavier than that 8O

As per the RTA site

976kg to 1154 kg $220 $325

1155kg to 1504kg $247 $372

1505kg to 2504kg $352 $537

Greenslip quotes I priced ranged from $256 to $440 8O 8O

Not trying to irritate anyone over this just interested as my rego is due now in QLD so Ive been looking at pricing and I know when I transferred the Defender from NSW to Qld rego 5 yrs ago there was a big saving, wouldn't have thought that Bobby Boy would let it get cheaper down there :roll:
