The 2 aluminium poles holding the bed up are just temporary props...

Seeing that I have built my MAN truck up into a camper (See here for that thread), my original camper build on a 130 chassis is sitting languishing in my shed.
I am going to sell the 130, but I have to decide if I sell it with the lift up roof on it, or put it back to being a "box".
The lift up roof is from a Series III and has a tropical roof on it, to keep things cool in the sun, and it lifts up nicely on twin struts.
Under the lift up roof, is a lift up bed chassis. During the day it can be up, so you can stand in the back easily. At night it drops down for sleeping. The mattress and duna and pillows would all stay on the bed chassis during the day, so it's permanently made up.
There was a fair bit of work in building the roof, so it seems a shame to ditch it, but conversely, it would be a fair bit of work for someone to make all the required canvas work to finish it off and make it usable. Hence, it might be easier to just convert it back to a simple box.
So - is there anyone here who might be adventurous enough to buy it and then finish off such a project?
If you think it'd be easier to sell with a simple box - let me know too!
I'll post up some photos in the next post, so you can see what it looks like.
Cheers
David
Oh - BTW, it is all built on a 2001 TD5, Ex-Telstra 130 with an "extra cab" (so it's only got 2 doors, but there is a lot more room behind the seats than a normal 2 door).

With the bed down, for night-time use:
There is enough room between the end of the bed and the end of the camper to get up onto the bed.

And this is it with the roof fully down:
There is also a crawl through, from the driving cab back to the cabin:

I've been following your MAN build with interest, would love to finish off your 130, but can't afford itSomeone else will have to have that pleasure.
How do you know! I haven't got a price on it yet
Not sure what to ask for it yet, given it's "incompleteness"....
