We used to put peroxide on pussy scabby sores.....it used to bubble and fizz , I don't remember much more.....I'm sure if it was effective we would still be doing it under doctors advice.

The only things I can remember from my childhood that were effective then and still are , are aspirin and aloe vera.

My friend has found lots of positive stuff on the internet but little negative.
At the small dose rates reccomended feels there is nothing to lose.
Just asked me to put it up here for other opinions.

Don't feel bad, I treat most books of this nature with the same amount of skepticism. Same league as crystal healing, anti-vaccination, tin-foil hats etc. I always like to look for the science behind tall claims, but couldn't find much in this instance I'm afraid.

I'll give it a more thorough read and see report back, if anyone is interested.

In the mean-time, have a look here for some epic biomolecular awesomeness.

Two chemists walk into a bar.
The first one says "I'll have some H2O"
The second says "I'll have some H2O too".
    The second chemist dies.

    Thanks to Mr Toxic_Avenger.
I skimmed part of this book and the claim was made that the incidence of a certain type of breast cancer increased by 232% after the introduction of mammograms. The author then went on to state that opinions as to why included radiation from the mammograms or the pressure from the physical application of the mammograms caused this increased incidence.
Strangely it did not seem to occur to the author that possibly the availability of mammograms meant that cancers were being detected when they would not have been before.
I wanted to give a reasoned response to this book and the snake oil salesman who wrote it, but it is very difficult.
But here is a try, the biggest and fastest growing expense in governmental budgets in the developed world is health, if this could be reduced to virtually nothing and therefore lots of lovely tax cuts - well i don`t need to say more, any political party will go for that.
Next I have had and am still having lots of dealings with the medical profession. They want to help people, doctors, nurses, pharmacists and allied health.
My wife was diagnosed with a brain tumour 5 months ago, she had a craniotomy and the radio and chemo therapy and is still undergoing therapy. She is a nurse and understands full well what she is going through and the reasons for the treatment she is being given. The tumour type is aggressive, the same type that killed Andrew Olley and Chris O`Brien. Thankfully treatment has improved.
But the point is the people treating Rocio are professional, caring individuals. If there was a simple treatment like in the book then they would embrace it. They are working get her into remission not to pass on in 12 months.
So Mr Avenger is right, there are many dedicated researchers around the world doing their best to improve our health. They should be celebrated in a big way.
Now my point, I am angry, I am literally sick to the stomach about this. These people prey on the vulnerable, the scared, the poor b******* who may die. And what do they offer? Not a ******* thing. They rely on the complete and somewhat incomprehensible stupidity of humans who who seem to lose all ability rationally weigh evidence in these matters.
My apologies to the OP, but this person is a chartalan, this person is evil.
And b****r people please start thinking

    Sorry for the rant
    Cheers
    Mike

Baz, I suspect that you are confusing Eevo by the capital letter at the start of "Avatar". Strictly speaking, that makes it a proper noun, so it appears to be a reference to the movie.

A reference to that strangle little creature that appears under his username should be written just as "avatar" without the capital letter.
